You could sit Ferg out of the finals in the 16th regional tourament and they would still win it by about 15 points. EC is that much better than anyone in the regiion. But if you don't have anyone that can get the ball past half court when the press is on you can't score. I think John is a great player, no doubt but I don't think he is the best player in the region, he's not even the best player on that team. He may be the best scorer but not the best player

 

Without "stirring the pot" and getting into a debate about who is the better player on Elliott's team, I will say this. I've never saw a team consistently send the other four players on the team down to the other end of the floor when the press is on. Any point guard that can consistently break the press by him/her self has never saw a good press.

i'll definitely have to disagree with that, though it would be difficult

sideline what criteria are you using to put Ethan Faulkner ahead of Jonathon Ferguson?, the only possible category he could be ahead of Jonathon on is assists.

I am not trying to tear the team apart, I love Elliott County basketball, you guys was just asking opioins on the best players in the region. IMO the best players in the region this year is Elliott Co. starting 5, they are like a well oiled machine that runs in perfect harmony. They won't be as good if it wasn't for each one of them. So the best player in the region IS:ylsuper: Elliott County.

They play 5 guards and anyone of them get run the point if need be. Probably not as good as Ethan because he has run the point so long. Ethan is the best ball handler on the team, BUT it takes 5 players to beat the Press. As far as the best player on the team I dont think Elliott has 1 everyone of them bring something different and great to the Floor.

I think clemons from Bath is a good point gaurd he could be the best ball handler in the 16th
