Propst resigns Lucky for him, he sounds primed and ready to be a big time DI coach... He'll get a chance somewhere, either at coordinator or the man in charge.
Wireman Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 After the forfeited games, they are now 3-5 and 3-4 in the region.
bulldog77 Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 With all due respect guys, this man is exactly what is wrong with school sponsored athletics and the sad part is he WILL get a college job somewhere. He cheats, he takes no responsibility for it, he blames everybody else around him and he finds a way to save face while basically being forced out . . .with PAY!!! Sounds like he could get a job coaching basketball at IU. (sorry, that's justa little jab for 98).

The Cerebral Assassin Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Well money is the root of all evil...what's that saying? "A fool & his money soon part." I guess in this case they left together (LOL).
HT721 Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 He should never be allowed to coach again, this is like Eddie Sutton when he left UK and wound up facing none of the consequences for what he did same will happen here, punishments should go against coaches as well as programs.

If they (the coaches) are at fault, I totally agree !!! :thumb:
NEERFAN Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Some pretty serious findings, wasnt' hard to figure the guy was a crook while watching the reality show. Hopefully he'll find it hard to find a new coaching job but something makes me believe it won't be too difficult.
mexitucky Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Some school in Houston or Dallas will pony up.

I guess in this case they left together (LOL). Often misquoted Scripture. It is actually, "the love of money is the root of all evil." Money is not necessarily evil.
thsrocks Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 The motto here...don't let MTV into your program....they have to find warts....if they had not appeared on television would these things have come to light? Would there have been $151,000.00 spent on a investigation? Some much more serious legal trials don't receive that sort of backing! This may be a case of too much publicity is not a good thing!!!
