HHS "Jake of all trades": Jake Turner...QB-WR-LB-DB-whatever...along with the dynamic duo of Oliver Head & Clint Crawford at RB's would all be starters and major NKY players if at another school. Great JV season guys...now let's get ya' a ring!!

I did get to see the Beechwood-Highlands contest. The Bluebirds looked really good on Off and Def and specialties too! I've come to the conclusion, that as discipline and with thier size, the Birds could play with alot of the varsity teams in NKy.

Well Conner's Defensive tackles Utz #99 and Schank #69 are monsters. Schank has a laziness problem, doesnt go to practice all the time but he can play. Utz has made some great improvements over the season.

CCH RB #23 Deglow is a monster. Runs over everything he sees.

With the exception of the Withrow game (the morning after the big varsity game against Trotwood) the JV Birds have beaten every one of their opponents quite handily including Ryle, Holmes, Dixie, CovCath, Scott, LexCath, Scott Co. and Beechwood. None of them were even close. Perhaps the most impressive was the rather big win over Scott Co, which hadn't lost a JV game in quite some time. We are supposed to play CovCath again this week at 10 Saturday morning. Nothing like an early morning game after a varsity game in Louisville on Friday night. I hope the boys sleep on the bus ride home:D. Based on the first game results, this shouldn't be much of a game. But with CovCath seeking a little redemption/respect and a late night for the Birds, it could be much closer the second time.

The Game is at Cov. Cath. at 10 a.m.:thumb:

With both teams playing in L'ville and being the last reg. season game...do you think they wil cancel?

As of today the game is still on, but I think the starting time has been moved to 11:00 a.m.

I thought there was a rule about JV/Freshman games had to be played before the final V game? or did I read that on here somewhere?

Highlands Oliver Head by far the best JV player i've seen in a while!!!!! Would and could start for just about any varsity team in the State right now.

I disagree with that statement Connor Hemple QB for RYLES JV and FRESHMAN teams is the best on both levels !

Sugar Ray of Lloyd is a realy nice linebacker.

Can't agree with this one. LN knows Conner's father. Great family. Conner will be a good one. But not the best JV player this year. Next year, if he's not starting for Ryle's varsity, he may be though. When we played Ryle's JV (Conner started the second half I recall), he didn't accomplish much. He did look very good in the frosh game against us however. Has really nice speed and scrambling ability and can throw a nice football. Does he play hoops? As I recall Rich is a big Scott Co. basketball fan.

I'm going with Ollie.
