October 29, 200718 yr I have watched it seven times and picked up two things. For Millsaps (purple), #50 gets crushed by his teammate when they tried to tackle the quarterback (1:11 left on the video). On the last lateral, watch the block at the 25 yard line by the Trinity player that knocks his helmet off (0:59). Great stuff. It almost looked like Millsaps was playing a 2-3 zone on the play.
October 29, 200718 yr This play would cause me as a HC who had to defend this type of game-ending play to put in all DBs and LBs. Watch the d-linemen - they're spent about 4 or 5 laterals in. They're walking.
October 29, 200718 yr That's the best play I've ever watched. And there is your ESPY for best play. WOW! This is the best play EVER Agreed on ALL counts :thumb:
October 29, 200718 yr It reminds me of a Rugby game! The funny thing was when the lineman got it on the far sideline, he got rid of it real fast!
October 29, 200718 yr Has to be the longest play from scrimmage (time wise) ever. Total time of the play was 60 seconds.

They're walking. I was asking last night, can the offensive team insert all runnings backs, WR's and DB's? Do they have to report? Since you're lateralling, why wouldn't you? That was nuts. I thought a sniper got the one dude. How about the guy that seemingly gives up on the play. It looked like he thought 1) the play was over or 2) if he didn't tackle the guy the play would be over...

October 29, 200718 yr Centre College travels to San Antonio this week to play Trinity.... hopefully their luck was used up this week! GO COLONELS!
October 29, 200718 yr Does college have rules about jersey numbers for linemen? Offensive lineman must wear jearseys with a number between 50-79 and are inelidgible for a forward pass for as long as they wear that number. Defensive lineman can wear any number they want.
