Here we go again. I wasn't at the last game. I hope it wasn't on the same level as "The Team from Ft. Thomas". That got tiresome IMO. I wish you would let us now how you really feel. Why all the :sssh:

 

Anyhow, I see this being a good game with some very hard hitting. Hopefully SK people don't see it as "Bad Sportsmanship". HHS 27 - SK 21.

Lets go Pioneers. You're still undefeated, keep it that way.

This should be a good game. At the beginning of the season, our offensive line was very big, but very slow. Not at all your typical Highlands offensive line. But they made some adjustments and became much better offensively. Our biggest enemy in our losses has been ourselves. This team has a group of kids (not all of them for sure, most of the freshmen players have kept their cool and shown great discipline) that has the tendency to lose their cool when things aren't going right, which just makes it worse for them. If they can keep their cool, stay focused, not take any bait that may be thrown their way and just play football, they have the talent to beat Simon Kenton (which is also very good). While the frosh streak was broken, this game could allow the Highlands frosh to gain some redemption in the eyes of fans and the varsity football team. Play clean and play hard.

Totally unprofessional, even for a freshman game. Best comment was from the SK coach who told him to cut the comments or cut the mike.

Let's hope someone can! For all you "people from ft. thomas" that keep saying you were not at the last game you didn't see what happen. There should have been ejections made. I've never seen a game so out of hand in my life. So please, control, play the game the right way and if you lose do it with some dignity.

Nobody in Ft. Thomas has blinders on when it came to what happened at that game.

 

 

 

I was at the game and was completely imbarrassed by the "players" for Highlands that acted inappropriately.

 

It is very tough to sit thru that and watch a few give a bad name to the to the many great past, present, and future Highlands football players.

wow, I hope the Birds truly play to their ability and smoke the Pioneers. No disrespect to their undefeated season so far but talent for talent the Birds have it. IF they can get their heads on straight and stay focused the championship trophy will come back to Caketown.
