Highlands usually takes two buses to away games. Found out today that they will be taking 3 to Louisville Central. Don't know for sure but I was wondering if this third bus was for the Frosh.

It's a freshmam team, no matter how un-capable of playing your freshman are you should never have a sophmore play in front them.

Maybe that is one of the reasons why he doesn't coach there anymore. That would not be tolerated at any level or school hopefully. Definitely not HHS! Might want to re-read before you post even if in "jest". And this is a "sensitive" subject right now and the program and/or other posters other than HHS people don't need any extra fuel for the fire.

 

Didnt mean to ruffle your feathers bro. The guy coached in 3 state championship games by the way, but that was over 20 yrs ago and times have changed. Good luck to he Birds and I am anxious to see the outcome of this game.

Anyone know if either team is going to be shorthanded on any key players for any reason (injuries, suspensions, eligibility, etc.)? Obviously, no need for details, just want to know if all the key players are going to be there for the Championship Game.

I don't think there is any team in NKY that wouldn't have their varsity go to root on their freshman in the championship? Not too sure why NKY should take notes on that.

 

Perhaps NKY should take note that Dale supports the Varsity, JV and Frosh programs the best way that he possibly can. Dale changed the Varsity Thursday evening pre-game so that he and the coaching staff and players can support the baby BIRDS. Many of the Frosh have senior mentors. This allows the mentors to show support and be able to walk the talk! Many of the Frosh are embarrassed by the overall team record, the on-the-field and off-the-field issues. This is a great way to show support of these young athletes and to let them know that the Bluebird nation has not given up on them.

 

Also, saw Dale at the 8th grade All-Star game Saturday evening. He spent considerable time on both sidelines talking to the players and coaches during the game. If that is not support of the Jr League than I do not know what is...

From what I hear some of them may not have the energy for the extra curricular activity, given all the extra running they've done. Should be in excellent shape though.

This has got to be the greatest build up of a Freshman game ever! Heck there are only a few Varsity games that get this much attention! The two best battling out. Watch out!
