Is it before the 3:30 game or at half? Better yet, if it were after the 3A game that works best for this Highlands fan.

Henry, it is at halftime of the 3A game unless someone that you know could pull some strings and have it changed.

That is very nice of the KHSAA to honor past champions and give them two free tickets.

 

Sweet, I only have 10 years to go to get my free tickets. Too bad I'll probably have paid my way in several times between now and then, hopefully. GO Birds!!!!

Nope. Just the game you are attending. I just so happen to know the lone sucker personally from Highlands that got the call about 2hrs before the game last year when they honored the very first receipent of this 25 yr deal and low and behold he is announced at halftime and about 3000 CovCath fans booed him all the way out of there. Really though, I am glad that they are giving a little more notice this year than last and I think it is neat that alot of the guys will have a chance to get together on such a memorable occasion.

Isn't that kind of ridiculous? You get in free to the 3A game; but then have to turn around and pay to get into your own team's game. If they were going to do that, they should have introduced the HHS team during the 5A game.

Wonder when they will announce them? In the past the announced the 1A champ during the 1A game, etc. Will it be the same this year? Perhaps announce the teams during the game/class that school currently plays in.
