October 4, 200718 yr Well if Herbstreit said we should all belive it!:lol::lol::lol: And if he said that Brohm was the best QB in the country, would you make the same post?
October 4, 200718 yr I think they are both flat out awesome....I agree with all of the publicity that Andre is getting. The thing that really perturbs me, is the fact that LOUISVILLE lost two games, and Brian has fallen of the face of the planet. That's goofy, and not right.
October 4, 200718 yr Author Only if Petrino thinks with his heart and not his head. Pitino got in trouble doing just that , JMO

It may not be right, but it would happen to any candidate who wasn't on a team that was doing well, ESPECIALLY in a program that isn't an "established" power-house program. Not right, but you're only considered successful if your "organization" is successful. Kinda like the corporate world!

The thing that really perturbs me, is the fact that LOUISVILLE lost two games, and Brian has fallen of the face of the planet. That's goofy, and not right. I agree 110%. His numbers are top notch, but he will get his payday come draftday. It's not a matter of IF, it is a matter of who, when, where, and how much! I just hate to see a QB playing that well hurt for such a prestigious award when it is still a team game and he can't play defense too. If the offense were only scoring 10-14 points per game, then maybe dropping would be deserved, but on his side of the ball, all is well.
October 4, 200718 yr Andre has come a very long way. I remember calling some of his games when he was at North Hardin where he was a raw "thrower," and thinking "this guy will never play at UK, let alone succeed." The QB coaches at UK deserve some love.

The thing that really perturbs me, is the fact that LOUISVILLE lost two games, and Brian has fallen of the face of the planet. That's goofy, and not right. But one thing is that Brian has stats and an arm. He is also in the right offense. He will come back in the media.
October 4, 200718 yr That's goofy, and not right. You're surprised at this? Happens every year in the Heisman voting? Its screwed up.
October 4, 200718 yr It is great to see Woodson get the attention he deserves. His real test will take place in the next few weeks. A solid performance and a win over the Old Ball Coach will go a long way in him staying in the spotlight. The October schedule will be a real measuring stick for the Wildcats and Woodson.
October 4, 200718 yr And if he said that Brohm was the best QB in the country, would you make the same post? If they said Brohm I would say yes...because he is. I give Woodson credit he is having a very good year as well as his team.

The thing that really perturbs me, is the fact that LOUISVILLE lost two games, and Brian has fallen of the face of the planet. That's goofy, and not right. It depends on how you look at it. Has he fallen off the Heisman map for the time being? Yes. He lost 2 games in a row and then didn't really have a Heisman performance in his last game. He is still considered a great QB and is still more than likely going to be one of the top 2 QBs at the least picked in the draft.

October 4, 200718 yr What? It's just a game. :walk: Man!!! She told me that story....that is truly pitiful...be glad I wasn't there...I would have knocked that into next week. Very classless!!
