A win is a win no matter what the other team does the rest of the year.

The U.L. win was a big one for U.K.'s confidence standpoint and was also a very big win statewide and bc of the rivalry. A win over the Cards (no matter how overrated they were) is big bc it sends the Cats into the SEC play on good and positive note.There are certainly a lot of better teams left on the schedule than Louisville. SEC games will tell the tale of where the Cats are.

That's my view of it. UK started the downhill slide for UL.

Actually MTSU started it, just didn't win the game.

Yes! Louisville was severely overrated, just like Michigan was. They did beat Penn State, who is overrated also.

Regardless of what the win looks like at the end of the season. It was still a big win and the benifits already reaped (i.e. momentum, confidence, ending the losing streak) don't have to be given back.

I enjoyed the UK/UL game in large part because I thought UK was really doing something by beating UofL but now I don't think that is the case. Does UofL's train wreck season take away from UK's win over them?

I dont think its a train wreck just yet, but they are off the tracks a little. And, answering your question, it was big even if UL doesnt win another game. The fans at Commonwealth needed it.
