I am not a fan of either UK or U of L, it didn't matter to me who won this game, I was just saying IMO U of L should have but they didn't.

After last night being the key words... That's happening after the fact, and tons of experts and analysts picked UK to beat UL without having that top 25 victory to go by.

What a game, congrats to the Cats! Pretty fitting that on the final play, after the last pass was tipped, and a UL player caught it, that Woodyard firmly planted him to the ground.

 

Both teams were hurt by the penalty, but, imo, it hurt UK more. I believe that UK could have put some enornmous pressure on UL when they sacked Brohm, and got called for the "Illegal blow to the head". The motion on UL on the goal line was a killer for them.

Well I won't pick them to beat Florida. Because I don't think they will. I was just saying why I thought half the nation picked UK to win.

Great game by the Cats last night. UofL just couldn't capitalize on any of their opportunities last night. Poor tackling, poor coverage, and turnovers really killed any kind of momentum they ever had. That was just an amazing game all around and football in the bluegrass is a national force this year, we should all be proud of that.

And Woodson should have been picked two plays before the TD. That stuff is moot...

I really thought all week that the Cards would beat us by less than ten. Im glad I was wrong.

 

You could tell after the fumble on the opening kick off and the pick on the first offensive play that things were going to go UK's way.

 

A lot of talk has been going on about Brohm and Woodson. They both had great games. In my honest opinion most of the credit for this one should go to Mr. Rafael Little, he played like a man possesed last night and just refused to be taken down after first contact.

 

My favorite part of this game was the intensity Kentucky played with. They looked like they wanted it more from kickoff untill the last play of the game. They played hard and deserved the win.

 

I don't know where UL and UK will be ranked next week but I do know this...The better team won last night and UK has bragging rights for the next year.

What a great game to watch, I'm a little hungover, but it's worth it. Had a small get together to watch the game and my youngest guest in his mid twenties was dancing aroung the house when we scored our last td. The older people in the house said we'll celebrate when the clock says 00. Wasn't there alot of UK fans on here last year wanting UK to hire UL"s defensive coordinator away from them. GOOD DECISION COACH BROOKS.
