Brooks should have lost this game.

3 Times he should have went for 2 instead of the extra point and a 5 point lead. What the heck was he thinking??????? This could have changed the whole complexion of the game.

UK did play great, and I really hope that isn't the peak of the season because their are many big SEC games in the wait.

But for those of you who say Brohm is out of the Heisman race, and Woodson in. Seriously, who is going to win the most games out of the two?

I think we all know the answer to that.

What was he thinking? Most likely, we have plenty of time remaining, a failed 2 point conversion can change the momentum of a game and the chance of a successful 2 point conversion is about 30 percent. On the last one, he was probably thinking the same thing and that with a 6 points or seven points lead Louisville can still win if we don't stop them and a failed 2 point conversion can change the momentum of a game.

Both coaches did the same thing, Pap! Choosing to go for the 2-pt. lead instead of 3 was even worse? How much sense does that make, even if he wasn't confident in his team's ability to convert?

The only time Brooks should have gone for two is on the very last score.

Definitely agreed.

What a game, congrats to the Cats! Pretty fitting that on the final play, after the last pass was tipped, and a UL player caught it, that Woodyard firmly planted him to the ground.

Both teams were hurt by the penalty, but, imo, it hurt UK more. I believe that UK could have put some enornmous pressure on UL when they sacked Brohm, and got called for the "Illegal blow to the head". The motion on UL on the goal line was a killer for them.

- Any UL fans think that Kragthorpe should have kicked the FG on 4th and goal from the 5?

Both teams made some mistakes down the stretch... Eric Scott's retaliation hit and not going for 2 by Kentucky... Going for it on 4th and 6 was a big one for Louisville. More than that, however, a mistake made by Louisville that I haven't seen much discussion about was the decision by Trent Guy to run what would've been a touchback from the endzone to the 22 yard line. This wasted 7 seconds, which is plenty enough time for Brohm to get one more play in that could've ultimately changed the outcome of this game.

After already running one back for a score I think he made the right choice.

And also fumbling one...

Do a little checking and you won't see much or any barking from me regarding UL, UK, Big East or SEC. So don't put me in that category.

It's not sour cheerios...it's disappoint in the team I support. You should know how that feels after all these years!

Imo the Ohio State Buckeyes have done fairly well in the last few years and beyond. :D

Every time. Penalties will too, as they both killed Louisville last night.

Both teams made mistakes. UK overcame theirs.

I really am loving this though. All the stuff UofL fans blast UK fans for saying, and who's saying it now?

No excuses boys. Half the country had the Cats picked. This was no fluke, and UofL didn't give it away.

True, they did overcome theirs.

I am not a fan of either UK or U of L, it didn't matter to me who won this game, I was just saying IMO U of L should have but they didn't.

And half the country did pick UK. Why? Because Louisville's D is wayyyy down from last years, and UK is unranked. Of course people are going to cheer and pick them over U of L. People will do the same when they play Florida, and Tennessee.

:ylsuper: :ylsuper: Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner :flame: !!!

U.K. came out and flat out whipped U.L., no giving it away to it - U.K. took it. End of Story.

I 100% guarantee half the country won't pick UK over Florida.

Turnovers will kill you EVERY time....

Not "EVERY" time, but they can make a big difference at times. ;)
