Bengals 27 Ravens 20 (Sept. 10, 2007)

Featured Replies

The call on Heap was awful but they made it up...I was shocked to see Todd drop one in his chest.....Great win Bengals...

If he would have caught it, I would have won in my fantasy league.

But, I'd much rather have this victory

Lamar Marshall and Mike Meyers were big time...

Where did these two come from??? They're just new names to me (I didn't follow much in the preseason).

Marshall is a Cincy native from St. X and, I believe, they signed Myers from Green Bay during the offseason.

Marshall was let go by the Redskins.

Myers a FA.

Marshall was a nice pick up.. he is only out of Wash cause of the Fletcher signing.

Myers was an off season signing and Marshall was a waiver guy in camp. Myers from Denver and Marshall from Washington...

Thank you much, sir.

Or I should say, thanks to all.

Bengals D played great, but they barely escaped....

That's the understatement of the year.....:D :thumb:

What about Leon Hall? He played a very solid game too.

Game gifted to you on the Offensive Pass Interference call.............

Bengals are not that good, Ravens are baaaadd on offense and you are NOT going to get 6 turnovers a game............

Defense looked good. Offense needs to capitalize on opponents mistakes. Wish we had Chris Henry.

The D couldn't play any better! I'm amazed, go Bengals!

Either that, or the Ravens' O couldn't play any worse. Either way good win for the Bengals, with a little help from the Tim Donaghy call against Todd Heap at the end (which was actually defensive pass interference and a touchdown). That call was so bad, he attempted to give that appeared to be a makeup call. Somehow, the Ravens couldn't move the ball 5 yards in 8 downs. Also, the Bengals need to send a thank you note to the so-called "offensive coordinator" for the Ravens as the coach made two of the worst excuses for 4th down calls that I've ever seen. Anyways, despite all of that, a win is a win and Bengals nation will take it. :thumb:

Silly me. I thought the Bengals were still up 7 when that call was made?

I even like the Bengals and I'll have to agree with JD on this one. The Bengals were extremely lucky and that comes after they are handed all of those turnovers. The Bengals started about 6 drives at midfield.

The game probably would have went to OT and the Bengals O was looking horribly out of sync .....
