September 8, 200719 yr I would fire Carr right now and let an assistant take over for the rest of the season. Happy trails "coach".

September 8, 200719 yr Just no excuse to allow a player to walk on the field with a sledge hammer and beat it on your logo and then let them walk the walk, as well.
September 8, 200719 yr WOW!! The football forecasters were certainly wrong with the Wolverines? How in the world could they have had Michigan rated #5 in the pre-season poll?
September 8, 200719 yr I said on another thread about Carr that I thought that Michigan would wait untill after the season to fire Carr and/or he retire. Now I am not so sure, he may be gone during the season, maybe before their next game.
September 9, 200719 yr I say he resigns or gets fired on monday, UM has to try and salvage the season before its too late, name a young firey assistant your interim and maybe rejuvenate the kids, heck it cant get any uglier
September 9, 200719 yr Anyone know when the last time Michigan lost 4 straight was? I'll answer my own question. It has been 40 years since Michigan lost 4 consecutive games. It had been 28 since they had so much as lost 3 straight before this stretch. Here's one more: The Wolverines have not lost back to back home games since 1994. None of these stats paint a very good picture or spell good news for Lloyd Carr. This is one of only 9 losing streaks of 4 or more for the Wolverines. The longest was 7 straight spanning 1936-1937. Carr won't last that many losses.
