There is a guy from Corbin down here at LWC with his girlfriend who happens to be from Corbin also. When they heard I was from Rockcastle they laughed and asked if I like low scoring games. :lol:

That was actually Rock's second time they won a game 2-0.

This is two of the top programs in the newly realigned 4a district. But I will have to take Bell Co. in this one due to all of the injuries that Rock has sustained. Though it could go either way. Anyways, it will be a good game regardless of the outcome.

Rockcastle has clearly had the upper hand in this series since 2000. If my math is correct Rock has won 8 of the last 11 games these 2 teams have played. I dont want to hurt any bobcat fans feelings, but that is actually bordering on domination and that is kind of shocking to me because of the respect I have for Dudley Hilton as a coach. I dont think there is any other team that has anywhere near a record like that over Dudley's Bobcats. I have to say that it is just a testament to how strong Rock's program has been during the last 8 years. Should be a great game Friday probably a 14-12 game with Bell squeaking it out with home field advantage playing a big role

And during this time Rock was playing Bell atleast twice a year because they were the 2 best teams in the whole region accept for in 2000. Then Bell beat Rock for a couple seasons and had the better team, but only played them once a year. The last couple years Rock has had the better team. I believe this season Bell is stronger than Rock, but we will have to see Friday night.

Great point LMB. The times Bell beat Rock in the regular season Rock never made it to the rematch in the post season therefore only giving Bell one win. Also when Rock beats Bell it always a close game but when Bell beats Rock it is handily see 2004 score.

 

Rock is a great program and has played some terrific Football for about 7-8 seasons.

Bell looks to be unstoppable.

 

I agree.....That 31-7 win over Lincoln to start the season off looks really impressive now! :eek: I like Bell by the same score.
