Not necessarily aiming that at Rock. Just seems that there have been several conspiracy theories that pop up when powerhouse teams win close games. Not only on Log Mtn, but other places as well. It just seems to be a better thing to say "the refs took that game," or "the clock man gave them more/gave us less time," or something of the sort than to man up and say "our team was beaten by a better team tonight."

That is quote is seriously over used way too much and no team just plays 11 guys in one game. Either way I wasn't making an excuse, just making a statement. Two years ago Rock had 27 players dressed at Clay County and scored 60 some points. I realize it doesn't mean anything.

Either way, even if it wasn't an excuse, you opened yourself up for the comment by making the statement that they would only be dressing 34 players including 9th graders.

I have to wonder the same thing? How would this make the other kids who show up for practice, and put in their time feel? It sure doesn't build team unity and chemisty IMO.

WOW! I just realized that I am second guessing a coach who is about to win 300 games :lol: but still.

This site is about sharing information and not just about debating who is going to win or lose the game. 3wishes was sharing information not only with the Bell Co folks but with fellow Rockcastle folks. He stated a fact and did not open himself up for any such comment. If you will take the time to look at past history you will see that 3wishes provides most of the statistical and historical information about the Rock and their opponents. You never see him making excuses. Please take the time to get to know the people on the site.

That was a joke. Looking at Leonidas made me think of the movie "300" or the older version, entitled, "300 Spartans." They only took their strongest best soldiers. Just being a little light-hearted before the game.

Bell Co.'s future is indeed bright. I saw some film of them playing and was told that #14 is only a freshmen. Thats quite and accomplishment on a team with that many skilled position players. Do they have other freshmen and sophomores with similar skills. If so the future is truly bright !!

#14 is John Dudley Hilton (Coach Hilton's son). He starts at TE. Several freshmen are contributors on this team:

 

Seth Chambers, Dominique Carton, and I believe I am missing a couple more who actually get to play as well.

Their is a Mills boy I belive that starts at DE that is a freshman as well.

The game of the week if you ask me. Wouldnt mind seeing it. I will go with Rockcastle in this one.
