This morning's CJ indicated that Darius Ashley, X's star running back, who is being recruited by UL and a host if D1 schools, may still be out due to injury. Earlier this week it seemed that he was set to play. If he is still out, this could be a big break for the Rocks.

He practiced on Monday and Tuesday and according to Coach Specht, was given Wednesday off as he was extremely sore.

My guess is that if he plays, it will be sparingly. He is clearly no where near 100% and will probably not be a factor in tonight's game.

That is, of couse, assuming that Specht was telling the truth to the Cincy Enquirier. If he was pulling a fast one, all bets are off...

Does anybody think there is a team in Kentucky with a better chance than Trinity to beat Cincy St. X?

I'll tell you sometime after Sept.28:cool:

Not me.

The answer should be "NO". Trinity is definitely the best in Kentucky this year.

That is based on Will Stein continuing to perform well as a first year starter at the quarterback position. He is doing a nice job and holds the key to Trinity's success this year, in my opinion. All other pieces to the puzzle return with experience for the Rocks.
