September 7, 200719 yr I went to sleep for a little while at halftime while it was 10-3 and when I woke up it was 27-3. Must have turned up the heat in the 3rd quarter. Their D is pretty fast and gets to the ball in a hurry. Love to see a swarming defense.

A wedding rehearsal tonight messed up my viewing of this game, and the wedding tomorrow messes up my viewing of the DH/CCH game. :irked: But, oh well. As for the offense, I can tell they still need some work just by looking at the stats and seeing the highlights. I thought I saw where they only had around 30 yards rushing and somewhere over 100 through the air. However, OSU's defense is pretty good. It was the UC defense and special teams that won this game, even though that was a pretty play action to Moore for the TD. When the freshman came out for the 55 yarder, Dan Hoard and his buddy were talking about how they would probably punt the ball out of the formation. When they actually kicked it, they then expressed how they loved Kelly's style of play, and the past 14 years, that would've been a punt to play the field position game. I don't think that kid will be moving to the soccer team anytime soon. :lol:
September 7, 200719 yr D was wicked. Some big hits. The secondary is very good. Is that the unit Koombs heads up? O-line still seemed a little shakey. QB took some big hits. Anyone see the scar on that guys arm? Ouch!
September 7, 200719 yr I kept flipping back and forth between this and Louisville. I think the UC O line still has some work in front of them to protect Maulk. I really liked UC's receivers and how they came back to the ball especially "bones"
