Alright guys, its been a LONG time since I've had some girl drama but I've found myself in a confusing situation. I've been dating this girl for about 9 months. For the most part its been a dream come true, occasionally we have some tiffs but nothing major. Well about a month ago we had a real arguement that lasted 3 days. Finally we just agreed to disagree on it and put it behind us.....so I thought. Well she would fall back into for 2 weekends in a row and say she was still mad over it. Well finally I thought we put it behind us...then last tuesday she just up and breaks up with me, says she cant date me anymore, its too hard? Ok so I'm obviously shocked and devastated. Well the next morning I get to work and she's emailed me at 6am saying she's made a huge mistake and wants to work it out. So I happily agree, after all I love her.

 

Well last thursday we go down and watch the Packers and Titans game and had a blast, got a long, came home and all was fine. Friday she goes off to Nashville with her friends for there bachlorette party. We talk friday night, saturday day and night and sunday morning, all is fine, then sunday afternoon she breaks up with me again. Now I know she didnt cheat on me cause thats just not her and my mutual friend who was there would have told me. But she says she just doesnt know what to think cause I'm trying and shes not. So its over....

 

I get off the phone, stunned but taking it better than the first time. I say to myself "well i guess thats that". About an hr later I get on the computer and change my Myspace and Facebook status to single. NBD? Well I have that tracker and it tells me who looks at my profile. She's looked at it like 5 times since sunday. And her status still says in a relationship and I'm still her number 1 friend. Ok so why is she leaving this? Maybe she hasnt thought to change it? Nope, I talked to the mutual friend last night and she says she was kind of hurt that I changed my status? Why? we are broke up right? Well she hasnt called me and ignored my 2 msgs?

 

So what do you guys think? Should I give her time to think and hope she comes around or should I just try and get over her? It hurts pretty bad but I dont want to keep this wound open any longer than it has to be but I also think she cant be 100% for this break up if shes leaving all her things as in a relationship.

Do whatever your heart tells you and nothing is certain, until someone says "I do".

Im not sure what to tell you. Sounds like she is having some trouble deciding what she wants, do what will make you happy in the long run

What would make me happy is to be with her but I cant make her do that ya know? I dunno its baffleing cuz 2 weeks before the break up she dragged me looking at rings? I dunno, Im just lost on this

I agree, whatever is meant to be will happen...just try and hang in there! Hopefully she will come around, if not hopefully it will make you better for the next girl! :thumb:

Yeah man, i know what you mean. Girls can be difficult. I guess keep trying to talk to her, if she keeps ignoring you then its time to try to move on

I guess I'm just gonna give her some space and if I havent heard from her in a week I'll start the healing process I suppose :(

In all these failed relationships, besides you, are there any common denominators? Do the women all have something in common? Is there an issue that keeps causing problems (jealousy, money, etc.)?

Do you mind if I ask a couple of questions? Maybe we can come up with a collective diagnosis.

Ok the last girl I dated, met in a bar. The one before my roommate introduced us. The girl from the bar, she was shaddy, and the one my roommate hooked me up with, she smothered me.

 

This one I worked with while in college at Wal-Mart, there was never any romantic interest cause I had kind of had a thing with her friend. Well the friend hooks up cause shes now married and thats how we got together.

Yeah something went on at the bachelorette party to change her attitude .

This girl kinda reminds me of me after any relationship that's six months or longer. I'm feeling one thing one minute, and then the next not sure why I ever thought I felt that way. It's what some would call indecisive. The only reason I think I'm still with my current gf is because I'm less vocal about my thoughts than in the past because I realize it's hard as heck on you're loved one. But it doesn't mean I don't think it quite often, sometimes I just think I myself am too scared to say anything.

 

To be honest if this doesn't change quickly I think it may be time to abandon ship before you hold on too long my man.

We are 26, not like we are young kids. The ex fling was at the bachlorette party, but they are best friends and the ex is whats semi holding this together. So I dont think thats it. It revolves around that 3 week stretch of arguing I think.
