I never said you would or did. I simply asked how the temperature could be such and asked for the formula that was used.

I will assume that you know what your doing as I have always found you to be reputable and will take my problem up with the dealership.

:D

Thank you, I think!! No formula, the chart I referred to provided by the KHSAA.

oooohhhhh a 40,000 vehicle with a 2.00 temperature sensor .... big deal. All i will say to this is if you are right ... then there are about 30 teams in the area that are wrong --- with devices that that KHSAA recommends--and is basing the health of 100's of high school athletes off of.

40,000 dollar vehicles that are made to suck gas from point a to point b don't have the most reliable temperature sensors in the world. Just like when you drive by a bank (which I did tonight) and the temperature said it was 125 degrees (no joke).

I think that I would rather trust a device that is specifically designed to read the temperature and humidity over you 40,000, gas guzzling automobile that has the scientific accuracy of a hillbilly without a shirt on .......

I knew I should have bought a LEXUS! Cheap american made products.:D:D JK (I don't want to get the AAU on my back too.)

As is usual in situations such as this, you missunderstood my whole question. I never impuned any school, I simply asked a question. Go back and read and you will see where I have been trying to get someone to tell me how it is done. I never said I was an authority on the subject. It seems to me that you may need to check your own heat index.

Just an additional question.

Since the KHSAA has guidelines for heat already in place that ALL teams adhere to, WHY DOES THE SUPERINTEDENT FEEL IT NECESSARY TO CHANGE THE GAME TO SATURDAY?

I'll be bold and say Dixie wins by double-digits on their way to finishing the 2007 season as the consensus second-best NKY team.

Got to give the edge to Dixie on this one...

I agree...Dixie! :ylsuper: Hot or not it will be a great game to watch! I do agree though, that it won't be the same as under the lights!

AND ATTENTION ALL DIXIE FANS.....:dancingpa

Don't forget to bring your Mighty Red Colonel Towels to swing! show your spirit.... And maybe help create a little breeze! :fire: ;)

Also--here is a question (maybe i missed it) but are any of the other Kenton County schools playing at 9:00 am on Saturday morning?

SK and Scott are away. I thought the same thing when I heard this game was moved.

You may possibly be right about Dixie winning(doubt it) but finishing the season the #2 in NKY, I think that is stretching it just a little bit. We will find out in the morning before the roosters get up(dumb, dumber, dumbest)

Here is the thing ... the rest of the state is feeling very similar heat. You would think that the superintendent would be on the look out for all of the kids under his/her realm of control.

I understand the additional liability of having the home game ... however ... this one doesn't pass the smell test with me.

Thank goodness all of these kids are used to being up early--and playing as it gets warmer (as the day goes on).

Good luck to both teams--and hopefully everyone stays safe ... AND COOL!

I just looked, and both SK and Scott play on Saturday at 6:00 and 5:30.

Ya , your right on finishing #2 . We're thinking #1 ! :fire:

I wish he had left it alone. The heat index right now is 97* acording to channel 5. We should be playing this game as scheduled.

I agree. He should've just pushed the start time back to anywhere between 8 and 9. The atmosphere tomorrow will be nowhere near what it would've been tonight. And I like my happy hour after the game, not brunch. :irked: Plus, I'm not a morning person. :D

Now I'm debating on heading over to the Ryle/Highlands game tonight.
