One very important thing the bright bulb did not consider was the gate! If Dixie is like most NKY schools, FB is the big athletic money raiser and there will not be many kids getting up on a Sat morning to watch a football game. They just had their first week of school and had to get up early, not on Sat their day of sleeping in.

Deserves him right but ashame for both teams as I think this game would have been packed tonight. Hopefully I am wrong and the kids come to support their classmates.

I surely hope the Supt shows up!!

I sure am glad the Supt cxd this game tonight to keep both teams safe from the terrible heat we are experiencing. As everyone predicted, it would be OK to play around 8pm.

This, IMO, should have been a mutual agreement between the two schools. I think w/some documentation infront of the Supt he may not have made the decision he did. Changing the game to tomorrow night would have made alot more sense rather than morning(he probably has a dinner engagement tomorrow night). Oh well, no sense beating a dead horse in the mouth so I am done. I truely hope I see this Supt in the morning, I might even make a sign for him.

By the way, BHS wins to keep up w/the thread, sorry!!

You're not in this boat alone. We ALL wished the game would've been played tonight. Since they're calling for rain tomorrow afternoon/evening, I'm sure that was part of the reasoning for rescheduling in the morning and not the evening.

Do we ever get rain in NKY?
