Highlands/Lou Male Scrimmage

Featured Replies

Can't speak for HHS but this is Male they lose a ton of talent every year if you don't believe it look at the Uof L roster. Dexter Heyman is an absolute stud.

I would hate to be that someone who is about to tackle Dexter. It'll take half the defensive unit to bring him down

Who will be some of the Male star's to look for Friday. I alway's enjoy when Male comes to Highlands. How about some #'s of players to look for.

I agree that Dexter is one of the top RB in the State. But Highlands is so quick on "D". Everyone is going to see just what he's made of. "Good Luck"

Is there a reason why Male only has 1 scrimmage this season? Is this normal?

I enjoy the Male scrimmage a lot also. The Birds are fortunate enough to scrimmage to very successful and well coached programs each year. Beechwood brings the power game to the Birds and Male brings the speed game to the Birds. Really gives the Highlands coaches an opportunity to look at kids playing against two completely different styles of play.

First of all to cut back on injuries. Also, they feel playing a program as of Fort Thomas, Highlands, thats a good enough Barometer for the pre-season.

When did HHS start wearing game uni's for scrimmages? I can't remember them doing that in the past.

I agree with you DMZ76...its like our old high school coach used to say... I dont care if you go up to the line and tell them where we are running it....just EXECUTE and swell up in the huddle !!!

He is past this theory. With this being the "greatest" team in HHS history....It doesnt matter!
