I still think that he said the "this was the best team ever" thing...

Good question! Now I remember. I think it was on a TV station preseason show where he was the lone KY coach and they were talking about the upcoming season and such. Ding Ding Ding. Now all I have to do is remember which station.:D

Upon further review....I retract my harsh assessment of #46...It WAS only a pre-season scrimmage. Maybe he was pacing himself? I just saw quite a bit of taking plays off and lackladaisical effort to warrant the lofty status. I suggest he sign w/the 'Ville ASAP!!

There are a couple of things that #46 has going for him that you have to be impressed with, size and speed. This young man will be just fine. I know L/N mentioned it earlier in a post about #46 playing out of position on offense which I agree with. Defensively, although I felt Trey Jurgens did a great job against him, he can cover some ground and contained the outside on several plays against some fast kids. Good luck #46 this year and throughout your college career.

I agree with DMZ on not there on every play. It is early and he might not be in 100% condition yet. Nice ball player. Would like to see him at middle LB where he could cover the whole field. His size and speed remind me alot of Marty Moore. On offense I think LN had a great point in the use of his ability to improve the playmaking. He could definately create havoc 10-15 yds down field on passes and QB might not overthrow to this big fella. He's good and should be used as much as possible.

Actually, he told it to Ryan Ernst.

Would you believe a thousand reporters with white house credentials are just outside that door.:D

Maxwell Smart: It's funny you should ask, because as we speak this building is being surrounded by one hundred TV news trucks with one hundred Doberman pinschers. Would you believe it? One hundred TV news trucks and one hundred Doberman pinschers!

Nicholas Dimente: No, I don't believe that.

Maxwell Smart: Er... would you believe fifty print media sports reporters in blue ford escorts with a bloodhound?

Nicholas Dimente: I don't think so.

Maxwell Smart: How about a rabid Boy Scout with a pad of paper and a pen?

Guys, a couple thing to remember concerning Dexter. First and foremost, he is being recruited to play in a college system. He won't be playing in Redman's calamity defense. Secondly, this was his first action since recovering from his foot fracture. I have seen him play before, he is the real deal. I am sure that any coach in Kentucky would like to have him.

Who was #59 for Male? Linebacker, quick, strong and physical!

Who was #1 for Male. He sure looked like he was playing with a chip on his shoulder the whole night!!!!!! I liked his aggressiveness(sp) during the scrimmage, but i think he needs to tone it down just a little bit.
