August 6, 200719 yr I like all those late night guys, but Conan is most definitely my favorite. He used to be a writer for the Simpsons back in the day, and also for Saturday Night Live. He's a funny, funny man, and also seems to be a genuinely good guy.
August 6, 200719 yr When I first saw this, I figured someone dug it up from the thread graveyard. :lol: I don't think it really matters, Conan is nice, but he seems better suited in that later slot. Letterman was great until he left for CBS and then everything just went askew. Don't really watch any of them anymore, but I will be interested to see how it plays out when Leno leaves.

Yeah, I read somewhere that Jay Leno may not want to give it up yet and come back, in which Conan would be brought in sometime later.

August 7, 200719 yr Not by me...That's why I posted it. Me either, I am glad that you did :thumb: . I hate to see Leno go. I don't know how Conan will work out - not a big fan of his at all. I hope that the show will still be good and I think that t will - I expect Conan will "tone it down" some.

I agree with the bolded part, part of the stuff he does that makes him good he can't do in the earlier time slot on account of the fact that the audience won't really get it.
