hoopsrbest
What do you think? He wants to make a comeback. He said he's in better shape than he's ever been. 6'5" 245. That's about 20 more lbs than he went into the league with.
stick1
I don't think his arm has it in him. He is probably my favorite ever and I'd love to see it but it's one of those I'll believe when I see it things. I would be one of his biggest fans if he could pull it off! On a side note I still think he's better than the majority of the backups and even some past starters if he's healthy but that's a big if!

oldrambler
I would say that it depends on who might give him a chance. Imo he may have been out too long, I really don't look for him to make much of an impact at all. Although Atlanta may be an opportunity for him since it seems that their star QB has "went to the dogs"
DragonFire
Guys, he's gone. It's really past time to accept it.

RockPride
But he's such a better athlete than Brohm.....and he should be in his prime RIGHT NOW.
HOMELESS CAMEL
I would love to see him get a chance. But it's already been said in this thread, it would take some strange circumstances for him to have any chance with any team.
AverageJoesGym
But he's such a better athlete than Brohm.....and he should be in his prime RIGHT NOW. HE may be in his prime but I have the feeling his shoulder is older than Julio Franco. I just don't think he ever healed properly.
Jim Schue
Tim Couch has officially become THE dead horse. And no matter how hard some people try, they're not going to revive this corpse.
Son of Bear
I saw a report that said Tim was up to 245 lbs, with only 5% body fat......if true (which I think may be skewed a little) then he needs to line up at strongside linebacker. Tim doesn't need the money, if he wants to make a comeback in football so bad, then I think he should give it a shot with the Lexington Horseman. The style of dink-and-dunk is perfect for him, the crowd at Rupp would easily double, it would be a media frenzy, and it could help lead to bigger and better things. I don't think it would ever happen, but Tim may need to take baby steps in trying to get back into pro football.....
halfback20
If he wants to try and come back, then I think that is great. Do I think he'll succeed? Not necessarily...but I mind if he gives the NFL another shot...
SvFan4life
I hope he gets a shot, I don't care what people say, he doesn't want to give up and some should admire that.
