TheDeuce
Ok guys...I'd like your opinion....Im looking into a new car and right now it's pretty much narrowed down to three vehicles: A Ford Escape, a Toyota Celica GT, and a Nissan Altima. All fairly new (in the 2000's), the Celica and Altima kinda have high miles, but the Escape is an SUV (Schue, stay out of this ). So, what do you think? Beechnut
Toyota and Nissan will run well into the 100K miles.... Check with your insurance agent about the Celica...could make that decision an easy one. Right now, on paper, the Altima seems wisest.
00Rocket28
I drive an escape every day for work, they drive pretty good.
UKMustangFan
To me it's an easy choice. I'd go with the Altima. Celica's are nice, but the insurance may be a little steep.
spe690
The Altima....
cvillecat
Although price and gas mileage are of great importance, the one thing I would look at is the safety ratings of each vehicle. Also you have to decide what vehicle best fits your driving needs such as room for other passengers ( enroute to all the UK games:D ) and enough space for luggage and other things. As others have stated, your insurance premium will vary due to certain vehicles so a call to your insurance agent will be helpful as well.
Qryche11
Altima is my choice for you. I ahve a Pathfinder 2005 and it runs like a vehicle not a truck. I drove an Altima once and it had some getty up and go and was very smooth. Nissan's are very nice and the Altima is getting to be more popular than the Maxima these days. Pretty reliable and cheaper on insurance than the Celica.
oldrambler
Imo the advice given about checking with your insurance provider is solid. They might not want to insure a U.L. fan.............too much of a risk, they (U.L. fans) are not stable. LOL
cshs81
List the model and the year for each. How long do you plan on driving it?
HammerTime
Altima. Celica's are freaking TINY!
SkipToMyLou
I'd have to agree on the Altima. I almost bought a Celica once and the little (GT) on the side makes the insurance go way up because it's a high performance car
Devilman
Nissan and Toyota are pretty much known for longevity and good gas mileage, so I'd go for one of them.
RockPride
Altima is the best choice.
TheDeuce
List the model and the year for each. How long do you plan on driving it? 2005 Ford Escape LTD 2001 Celica GT 2004 Nissan Altima My mom actually checked on the insurance, and the Escape is the cheapest of them all. And plan on driving it for quite a while. After looking at the Celica, it is far too small for my liking.
Sportz Addict
Those newer body styles on the Nissans are sharp. I think you would like it a lot. Its a 2.5 also right? The Escape is cool and all, but that Altima would give you luxury and speed.
