August 3, 200719 yr It's simple really, if you keep Dunn your pitching needs to go from being the worst to middle of the pack and you are contenders. If you lose Dunn, your pitching has to go from being the worst to being Top 3 in one season. If you feel that is likely than, as they say, you're on your own. I was agreeing with you. My post was to point out that Dunn has more positive effect on the Reds lineup than adding the Cy Young winner last year to this team would. That said, he still can't play LF.
August 3, 200719 yr Did you realize that I was agreeing with you? Yeah, I was just expounding. :thumb:
August 3, 200719 yr Can you say that? Sorry, I had some fried food for lunch that isn't agreeing with me.

August 3, 200719 yr Do we back up an impressive performance in getting swept by the Nats by getting swept by the Pirates??. ...............Oh I am sorry George, I meant to say the Bucko's
August 4, 200719 yr The losing streak goes away in definitive fashion tonight. Belisle goes 6 and gives the bullpen a little bit of a breather. Everyone in the starting lineup had a hit, everyone cept for Valentin scored a run and everyone except for Hopper had an RBI. One of those nights and goodness knows it was long overdue after 6 straight bad outings by the offense.
August 4, 200719 yr Sorry, I had some fried food for lunch that isn't agreeing with me. Maybe it was the company and not the food.:sssh:
August 4, 200719 yr Start a winning streak now! This team prefers to win 3 and then lose 4. Win 4 and then lose 5. It's a SPECIAL gift.
August 4, 200719 yr Livingston on 3 days rest... Is it because Harrang is missing a start? I hope thats the reason.
