August 3, 200719 yr I figured Dumatrait would pitch about 5 innings, giving up 5 runs. He seems to be on pace for that right now.

August 3, 200719 yr wrong lol, and with Coffey in, all the other two runners will be in shortly. Well he pitched into the 4th and gave up four runs. The other two are charged to him, but that is Coffey's fault.
August 3, 200719 yr Someone tell me again.....Why is Coffey still on this team:sssh: ?? I keep forgetting and cannot come up with a reason.

August 3, 200719 yr I can't judge him on a 1st ever big league game but he did leave a lot of pitches right down the middle. I couldn't tell how hard his fastball was, BUT he appeared to be more of a location pitcher and it goes without saying he was struggling with that. For anyone else, getting swept by the Nationals would be considered a low point in the season. For the Reds it's business as usual.

When players leave the Reds they show what kind of players they are when they play against the Reds again. It woud take some searching and thinking and I am frankly too tired to do it right now but I believe that a list of former Reds could be made and a team made out of them that maybe would be better than the product on the GABP field now. Including managers.

August 3, 200719 yr Author Someone tell me again.....Why is Coffey still on this team:sssh: ?? I keep forgetting and cannot come up with a reason. Not only on the team got an extended contract and a raise:scared: This team is so far away from contending its absurd. If one more person tells me they are one reliever away from contending I will scream. This team is light years from contending. Wake up and smell the Coffey people!

August 3, 200719 yr Why are Reds playing Conine who will be retiring and leaving Votto in the minors? Krivsky needs to realize that are not going to win enough games to give Pete the job. Time to unload some veterans and give the prospects some playing time. I am as down now as I have been on this team all year.
August 3, 200719 yr Forget his power, where will you replace 100+ runs scored? Although, for the record, I do think in GABP power is of more value than in general. I like Dunn but he needs to go. 13 million is too much for him Reds CFers have to cover a football field with him and Griff in outfield. Trade them both. Votto Hamilton Bruce. How could it hurt? We might be in last place if we do it. LOL
