August 29, 200719 yr You're right. See it's not hard, just type it.. The last time they faced Gorzelany in April they went heavy on righties and mashed him. Dunn was 1-3 with 2BB and a K and Hobbs was 1-4 with 1 BB, 1 RBI and 3 Ks. The rest of the lineup produced 11 hits and 6 RBI. The right handed bats didn't produce yesterday. August 29, 200719 yr Why does this city seem to think they are intelligent baseball fans?Simple, because for decades they watched Reds team, with superb talent and some with mediocre talent but they still competed, most years. August 29, 200719 yr So a winning team makes the fans intelligent? What happen to UK basketball? Not the winning part, but the competing aspect. You can watch average teams play but not see the intricacies of the game, which help you win. You watch perennial post-season teams play and they'll have solid pitching, hitting, defense, fundamentals, etc....Fans get to see that 81 times a year in person. Every team experiences bumps in the road or detours....The Reds, are taking the long way around.
