Didn't they say that Wayne will stay here? I think he has earned the right, like Gametime said if not "round and round we go".

Where you been. I thought we would have heard from you runs ago

In 18 games with the Braves Mark Teixeira has 9 homeruns, 25 RBI's, and is batting .288, what a year this guy is having with the Braves.

You would have but man, I had to go with the girlfriend grocery shopping in Mount Sterling and just got back. Tried listening on the radio but couldn't pick up the station.

Yea. Hows that work when a team makes a move to improve themselves?

The same way it works when a team has some serious stability in the front office and in the dougout. Thanks for making my point...

It just annoys me that the Braves score all these runs when they don't need them, but they'll lay an egg when they have a pitcher who can't win without massive run support. Smoltz and Hudson don't need 14 runs. Carlyle and James do.

Your welcome. I don't think I disagree with that statement.

No clue how the money would work out if they were to get rid of Griffey, Freel, Eddie, and Hatteberg, but someone asked me what I'd do, and that's it.

They can't win without pitching

Hence, my post that no team is giving up good pitching at ANY level especially for a guy who is going to retire.
