August 20, 200719 yr I know everyone loves the O. But eventually they have to go after some quality pitching. I would have much rather seen a couple young pitchers in a trade. The Reds have position players coming out of their ears. So what can you tell me about the lower level pitchers in the Mets system???

August 20, 200719 yr Funny thing about the trade today as I saw it scroll at the bottom of ESPN, it wasn't shocking as it was ABOUT TIME. Nice to see the Reds get somebody in return since Conine wasn't going to be back next year. Maybe with September call ups, we will finally see Votto get some time at first. Since I didn't post during the Reds recent road trip. I can give them credit for beating up my Cubs and for taking care of the Brewers. Although with as bad as Milwaukee has been playing, I don't know how much the Reds won or the Brewers lost those games.
