August 19, 200719 yr Author My answer is a simple no. If you only have 12-15M available for next year they're in trouble IMO. They need to sign a solid starter, and a couple solid bullpen arms, and you can't do that for only 4-5M a person. Dunn or Griffey have to go next year for them to have a shot IMO. Right on:thumb: I think it is Dunn. With Jr. chasing 600 he is still a draw at the gate. Reds just simply can't afford Dunn.

I just don't see the OF as Hamilton, Dunn and JR. next year. 3 lefties and only one that can run at all. You just can't have that as your starting OF, unless you have top caliber pitching, and speed in the INF. The Reds have neither. The formula they are using has not worked, when people get that?

I would trade Dunn for some batting practice balls and some used cups. Sure we love the homers, but the only thing he hustles for is a cold steve in the locker room.
