Anyone can step up on any given day and win. But in my opinion the only teams that I would worry much about were LSU and Florida last year, Georgia was not good last year. The Big East is not as deep as the SEC but the SEC is not as tough as it is made out to be, and the Big East is not as weak as it was made out to be as can be seen by the fact that the Big East was 5-0 in bowls last year after people acted like they were a two team league preseason and a three team league during the season. The SEC is a great conference and the king of College Football. But there are other teams and conferences out there that can play ball. Louisville is one of those teams.

Boise State beat Oklahoma, the status quo from the 1990's is gone this is a new world in sports, and good teams from any BSC and some mid major conferences can play with anyone. Personally I would love to see Kentucky in the Big East. Great basketball conference, good football, rivalries with Cincy, Louisville, West Virginia, and Notre Dame, if Kentucky fans think the Big East is so easy then they should want to play in a league that they think they have a shot instead of the big bad SEC with such super powerfuls teams that Kentucky nor any other team from any other league could beat.

If you think UL would march into either place and win hands down you are kidding yourself. Like LABS said in another thread maybe this one... going on the road in the SEC would be a totally different thing for the Cards.

July 14, 200719 yr Absolutely I am playing the BCS card. Because on the road to beating Wake Louisville also beat Kentucky who beat Georgia, the Cards beat Miami, Kansas State who beat Texas, basically Louisville won alot of games against teams with winning records outside of the Big East, and they won the right to go to a BCS game and they beat another team Wake that did something that Tenn, Georgia, and USC failed to do go to a BCS. You can laugh all you want but I cheer for UK (except for one game) and watch all the Cats games I can I also watch the Big East teams as much as I can and in my opinion Kentucky is only competing a a level for fourth or fifth best in the Big East and Louisville is competing for a Conference championship in every conference.

July 14, 200719 yr Louisville won the Orange bowl last year. You are correct, Louisville beat Wake Forest who lost to Clemson who U.K. ( a middle to low level SEC team) beat in a bowl game. So what does that say for U.L. in te SEC, last season? I would say around 3rd, probably 4th. Lower than that in previous seasons. This season remains to be seen. U.L. should be loaded but with a new coach who knows??
