July 14, 200719 yr Yes it is it is a BCS win, Wake was the ACC champions, we can't help where they put us, I would have prefered going to the Suger bowl to play LSU myself and let Wake and the Irish duke it out. But the way it turned out LSU beat the Irish team and Louisville beat Wake. Both games are BCS games. But the LSU and Louisville game would have been a better game. No one's blaming UL for who they were forced to play. I'm sure they would've loved to have played LSU, Florida, USC, etc. Do you think Wake was the worst BCS team?
July 14, 200719 yr Rutgers has had one good team in the last 125 years, so let's not get crazy. As for South Florida, they are very good at home but atrocious on the road, so I guess it depends on where they'd play. West Virginia doesn't think that now.

But saying the only two teams last year that could have beat UL from the SEC last year were Florida and LSU is simpy ridiculous.

(and if their SEC schedule would have included Arkansas there would be another possible loss with McFadden at Arkansas) JMO

Matters not what any of the fans think, they are not playing the game.

July 15, 200719 yr Based on? :lol: Really? Based on playing way tougher defense's week in and week out. OSU had like the top rated defense heading into the national title game and that was because offense as a whole in the Big 10 is not very good.
