June 18, 200719 yr My 18 year old son was told about the "man with no name " movies by Clint Eastwood by a friend and borrowed one. The next day he comes home from the store and he bought "For a few Dollars More" and "Fistfull of Dollars". I told him I had "Shane" on VHS and my favorite "Once upon a Time in the West" should be checked out. Today he bought that one too. Kid is getting into old Classic westerns. "Hangum High", "Good, Bad and Ugly", High Plains Drifter, "Outlaw Josey Wales" are also some I could think of, then we will talk about some Dirty Harry stuff. He might pass on "Bridges of Madison County" and "Paint Your Wagon".
June 18, 200719 yr This may be un american, but I honestly don't think I've seen one of his movies. Now I'm not a huge movie buff but I bet I'm one of the only people on this board to say this. Where should I start?
June 18, 200719 yr All the movies listed so far are great westerns. I also really like Joe Kidd and my favorite is Unforgiven. You should watch High Plains Drifter and Pale Rider back to back. In the Dirty Harry movies, I like Magnum Force, The Gauntlet and Sudden Impact the best. And if you like Dirty Harry, you need to see Coogan's Bluff. Isn't there a new Dirty Harry movie in the works? And I can't not mention Kellys Heroes and The Eiger Sanction, everyone should see those two.

Where should I start? :scared: :scared: NEERS..............You may have to enter the witness protection program after confessing to that :eek: . :lol: I personally liked "The Outlaw Jose Wales" and "Hang em' High". Pretty much all the Eastwod movies that I have seen have been good. Imo Dirty Harry was one of the best non westerns that he had.

June 18, 200719 yr A few of my favorites: Outlaw Josey Wales (probably my favorite) Unforgiven (the bar sceen at the end has some of the best lines of any of his movies) The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Dirty Harry Magnum Force Hearbreak Ridge
