Outlaw Josey is one of my favorites. Eastwood directed and starred.

I am not a huge movie buff either, you don't have to be to have seen a Clint Eastwood movie. :eek: I mean, it's almost like breathing.

You got me, I was wrong, after research the first is Wyatt Earp, and the second one is Apocalypse Now - I guess I have seen to many testerone charged movies and now they are just one big memory in my little mind.

I also really like Joe Kidd and my favorite is Unforgiven.

 

You should watch High Plains Drifter and Pale Rider back to back.

 

In the Dirty Harry movies, I like Magnum Force, The Gauntlet and Sudden Impact the best. And if you like Dirty Harry, you need to see Coogan's Bluff. Isn't there a new Dirty Harry movie in the works?

 

And I can't not mention Kellys Heroes and The Eiger Sanction, everyone should see those two.

I saw Unforgiven the other day and did not like it. I'm watching "Good, bad and the ugly" tonight.

This thread got me wondering, other than when he played a ghost has Clint ever died in a movie? Even the Duke died in a couple.

 

Since TTC beat me on "The Beguiled" where Clint was poisoned I remembered another. Clint is a ghost in "Pale Rider" and I challenge those who think he wasn't to rise up. So maybe he didn't die IN the movie but he was dead throughout the movie. I will give the clues if needed.

Foiled again. I thought you meant only "High Plains Drifter". My wife insists Clint isn't a ghost but he has SIX shots in his chest, NOT HIS TOE, I tell her...and the bounty hunter says "the man I knew that you described is dead." Also, "Behold a pale horse...and death sits on him...(Can't remember the quote). Clint's on a pale horse. Anyway, it is just like Shane with all kinds of clues about Clint already being dead...but my wife says he is just a good ole preacher who came in and saved everybody and happened to be good with a gun.
