We're having a yard sale this weekend to try and make it through the end of the month. If we do exceptionally well, I might be able to send a few bucks.

Where is that puking emoticon when you need him? :bunny:

Will any Louisville fans go to Omaha if they make it?

Deuce, what are the chances that the band makes the trip?

Seen this from an OK State fan on another site......

"As outlined in previous posts - the NCAA rules for hosting a super regional says 600 tickets between the 1rst and 3rd base line should be reserved for the visiting team.

These tickets were never made available to O state fans. They were sold on Tuesday to Lousiville fans. We could have filled 40% of the grandstands if they were."

To be quite honest, if school were still in session, I'd almost bet that some sort of Pep Band would make the trip to Omaha...

One win away from Omaha........

Good luck Cards.

I've been watching the CWS for some time, and I can't ever recall a band being there. I don't think it's allowed ...

I looked into this and found this on the OSU fan site when the accusation was brought up this is what one poster said.
Do not give them (Louisville) fits about ticket handling. OSU received 600 for the regional at Arkansas but when I called the ticket office they lied to me at first and denied any tickets. I called their hand on it (I had done my homework) and they fessed up but told me they were for players families ( I agree with that) and special friends of OSU. I asked them why they lied to me at first and the answer was, by a college student, we were told to. Great way to teach young people ethics in business. Make your own conclusions from that of our ticket office and administration.

If that is true that might be the genesis for all this, if OSU tells fans that Louisville didn't give them enough tickets to sell, even though Louisville did give them the required amount then fans might raise a stink and blame Louisville.

I don't know either way but this is what I found.

Time for game 2!

GO CARDS! :ylsuper:
