The Cats are getting some love thrown their way:

Atlanta Aspirations

Kentucky – The Wildcats are fresh off an eight-win 2006 season, a year in which they defeated Georgia and Clemson and played both Tennessee and South Carolina within one score. Back is senior signal caller Andre’ Woodson, the top quarterback in the league. Woodson threw for over 3,500 yards and 31 touchdowns, compared to just seven interceptions as a junior. He, running back Rafael Little and receivers Keenan Burton and Dicky Lyons, Jr. give Kentucky as potent an offense as you will find in the league. First-year defensive coordinator Steve Brown will look to reverse the fortunes of a defense that has struggled. Sure the ‘Cats are a darkhorse, but they are a team that can beat anyone on their schedule. You can't overlook an eight-win team that returns almost everyone.

Baby steps, but I think they will surprise a lot of people this season.

I don't think are going to surprise anyone this year. Teams will be looking for this this time.

What a difference a year makes. At this time last year, the debate was could Woodson even beat out Pulley, Lyons was considered a head case with no promise, and Burton couldn't play a season without getting hurt.

BOO!!!!!!!:fight: ;)

What are your reasons?

1. Florida

2. LSU

3. Tennessee

4. Auburn

5. Georgia

6. Alabama

7. Arkansas

8. South Carolina

I find it almost impossible that UK is better than all of these teams one year.

9. Kentucky is a shallow high school football state; Florida, Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia are not.

10. For every other school listed, football is king. It's not king at Kentucky.
