May 14, 200719 yr And not going to happen... I don't think he will sign with UK either. I thought this race was over a long time ago, when Tubby left and Billy D expressed no interest in the UK job. Hopefully UK can get Sanchez and carry over the remaining scholarship for the '09 PG commit from Texas. It was really too late in the recruiting process for BCG to make much of an impact on this year. However, I feel he did a valiant job. Plus he is "out of the gate early" for some of the good '08 recruits. As a UK fan, you can't be upset with BCG at all.
May 14, 200719 yr Booing and simply not cheering for the other team are two totally different things...I would say most fans simply don't cheer for the other squad...Booing for not coming to your school (which is what will happen to Lucas) is childish, and immature. Every where you go with rivalries or other conference schools players get booed. Its part of the game. If you want to call every school, UL included, childish go ahead, because they boo people too. You need to get off your soap box on this one. Now what would be wrong is to have inappropriate signs or take another step further.

May 14, 200719 yr Girls may look better on the beach, but when did they put a beach at Gainsville, he still has an hour or two drive to a beach haha. But at any college you will find pretty women. I think most of his decision comes to Green leaving and Kentucky having a few guards better than him probably, but still could have used a point.
May 14, 200719 yr This probably won't be true. But I did hear yesterday that Lucas would go to Florida and Patterson to UK. Not saying it is likely, but I did hear that. So far the guy I heard it from is 1/2 right.
