May 15, 200719 yr I think way too many people are discounting Jasper as a PG. I feel as though he has a chance to be one of the best in the country before he graduates. If UK becomes more of a running, pressure type team I expect Jasper to thrive. He sees the court extremely well and is a very good passer.........all he lacks is just a little confidence in his shot. I agree....People forget the Florida guys, outside of Brewer, had little to no impact their freshman years...

I am not doubting that Jasper will come around at all. I just wanted Lucas also but that is over now. No use in keeping on about it . JMO

He may not start at UF, but he should see plenty of time at the point this year, plus if I remember correctly, Florida has been pretty good the last couple of years.

But I wish we would have got him because he is a natural point guard and makes players around him better. But we will be okay without him. Now, if we lose Patterson and Sanchez that will be a very dissapointing loss. Now for those of you who are criticizing fans getting on here and saying we do not need him or didnt want him, some fans were saying that before he signed as well and that is their opinion.

May 15, 200719 yr Sanchez was lost last night... Yes I knew that. I just did not word it properly. It will be dissapointing if we don't get Patterson because before I felt good about us getting Sanchez.
May 15, 200719 yr Did any one see Papa Lucas' statements in the paper today? Wow! A two man show with fill ins at Florida. Basically said all Jai needed was himself and a big man and the rest of the team would be fillers. Maybe we lucked out a little if this is really the attitude they have. We got to see this a little too much over the last few years.
