May 14, 200719 yr I think Patterson would help, but other than that I'm not so sure that anyone else out there will contribute next year in the area(s) that Kentucky lacks. Why not take the scholly's into next year's recruiting? We're "in" with a lot of the top recruits, and this is a new era of Kentucky basketball. I'm with you on this one.:thumb:
May 14, 200719 yr Nice try. Hamga was a total project on the offensive end, so he in no way would have limited Patterson's touches... Which is also why losing him does not hurt too badly. We have plenty of projects on the offensive end already (i.e. Perry Stevenson, Jared Carter, Derrick Jasper).

May 14, 200719 yr To me, this, if true, is a bigger loss than Lucas...UK needs inside help alot more than a point guard...From everything I was hearing in the articles about Hamga, UK was the clear leader for his services...It really does make you wonder if all the myspace hits had an effect...I swear, some UK fans are there own worse enemy, sometimes...Another factor could have been BCG cooling on his recruitment lately, as has been reported...If thats the case, maybe he knows something we don't about the PP situation or would rather have the extra scholly for 08... Either way, this comes as a surprise to me....
