Looks like the "fight" story was (believe it or not) a rumor.

 

I checked the NCAA website and it looks like a prospect can only be given tickets to a school sporting event. I guess Legion paid his own way into Keeneland.

I don't thnk they can pay for anything that isn't directly associated with the University.

 

For instance, I know they can give them shirts, hats and whatnot, but you can't pay for a sporting event or anything else at a fight, certainly you can't make bets for them at Keenland, or even buy them food or drinks there.

To be honest, if UK really did take Legion to Keenland I'd be suprised. As uptight as the NCAA is about gambling, that, to me is sitting awfully close to the fire and just asking for trouble.

1. Adams ties to UNLV. It has been long held there was a connection between Adams and UNLV. This is why I suggested something just didn't sit right when he made the comments to the C-J. Ulterior motive camflouged by his comments. He has ties to UNLV.

3. Adams family member getting a job at UNLV.

4. Guardian not making official visit.

5. Foreign players very loyal to their guardians in the states...
