May 7, 200719 yr I like both an live near both but I usually always go to KFC. Love the chicken bowl, may be the best thing ever invented, love the twisters, cheese snackers an Honey BBQ snackers are awesome. The sides are great too. Cant go wrong with the colonel.

May 7, 200719 yr Lee's gets the nod over KFC for me. I ate at a Church's in Cocoa Beach several years ago. First and last time. And while I love casseroles; I just have this sneaking suspicion that what goes into the chicken bowls is what didn't sell yesterday. I really really wouldn't purchase one in a KFC that has a buffet. Went to KFC in Cynthiana last Thursday night; got there about 8:20 PM. No mashed potatoes or cole slaw on the buffet; the guy at the register said that what was on the buffet was all they had - they weren't going to cook anything else for the buffet that evening. As there is really no point in eating at a KFC buffet that has no potatoes or slaw; this family went elsewhere...

January 19, 201412 yr Neither, I was a Chicken in a hurry fan, but I'm old. Wow... that's a long forgotten one. Are you talking about the one that was on Willow Run in Covington? If so, they were great with a one of a kind taste. I was pretty young and I don't even know if that was a chain or just a mom and pop place? Over the years the only thing I found that tasted like their breading was for a while Burger King had chicken fingers that had a breading that resembled it. I don't think BK even has that anymore. Not sure as BK is crap anymore and I don't go there.

Yep... my Mom and Dad shopped at Loschavio's as well as Deister's Meats (friend of mine worked there), and the UDF down the way. A childhood friend's Italian Mom worked at Loschavio's as well. I couldn't get enough of the Chocolate Malts from UDF. Thank God I can still get those when I need a fix. My sister's first job was at Chicken in a Hurry and many times was able to bring home some leftovers at the end of the day. Yum! Then there was the drive-thru carry out (dude I knew worked there) and Siefert's Bakery (friend of mine worked there). I have to believe that Siefert's has been closed for 25-30 years, but the building is still there as is the sign. That baffles me how it's remained untouched all that time. You probably know that Loschavio's is still in operation on the Dixie Highway out near CovCath. If you by chance graduated from Holmes in 1975 (considering your avatar), one of my sisters graduated from La Salette in 1975 and a neighbor from Latin in '75 as well.
