Hiring coaches who turn around programs (Demoss, Brooks, Cohen)? Not getting the hottest coach in the country to come to UK because he is very happy where he is, in the empire that he built with his own 2 hands? I don't see where he has choked yet, much less again.
April 5, 200719 yr Just saw a report on WTVQ on Billy G. Sporscaster in Texas said they are worried they are going to loose him also said that he was not as attached to A&M as Barnes was to Texas. Clip also showed Gillispie walking around at a shoot around twirling a ball on his finger like Curly Neal. The more I research him, the more I think Billy G. should be our next coach. 1. Key recruiter for Bill Self 2. Married to job, incredible work ethic. 3. His teams played two or three of the most exciting games that I saw all year.
