Runs are the key stat and the Reds are 5th in the league in scoring them. However, they are also next to last in the NL in runs given up per game 3rd in SLG% 9th in OBP% They are 2nd in "power" which is measured as SLG% - AVG.
July 6, 200719 yr Interesting (to me) clutch stats among the big boppers in the NL: RBI per RISP: Pujols .63 C Lee .595 Howard .567 Griffey .468 Dunn .361 RBI per RISP with 2 outs: Howard .675 C Lee .568 Bonds .545 Pujols .500 Griffey .375 Dunn .333 RBI per AB Runner on 3rd less than 2 out: C Lee 1.5 Howard 1.14 Bonds 1.1 Griffey 1.07 Dunn .714 Bonds numbers are skewed simply due to the number of walks he gets. His OBP% with RISP is .679 compared to his AVG .350. His OBP% with RISP and 2 outs is a whopping .788 which makes sense (why pitch to him with 2 outs when you can pitch to the next guy).
