The 2007 Cincinnati Reds- Where no lead is safe...

Hal McCoy says that we should not surprised if Arroyo is traded.

Would have been nice to see Matty get the bunt down...

I go and take a nap, I get back up and after I read the box score all you can do is laugh.

Fight back to take the lead in the 8th, only to give that lead right back and then lose it in extras. This team should be VERY proud that they are the worst team in baseball, they have earned it.

^They are by far the worst team I've ever watched play, and it's not even close. Of course that's only since about 1990, so the timeframe isn't that large, but it's still quite an accomplishment.

I heard some Jeff Brantley clips from last nights game. He was crucifying Belisle for popping up a bunt, Marty's comment? "Belisle is having a bad game." The announcers are employed by the Reds correct? I think Brantley's great, but do the Reds pull the plug on him, or temper him somewhat?

Not if they want to keep him ...

Is it too much to ask to have your pitchers be able to bunt? Shoot, if you could have replaced Brantley's clip with my rant, his would have seemed mild. It's not a difficult thing to do, it takes practice, and obviously, very few Reds pitchers practice bunting, which starts with,,,,,bunt strikes. No one can consistently bunt a pitch above the letters,,,,no one.

It's not any worse than when you're best hitters can't even get a runner in from third with one out.Left handed batter can't hit a grounder to the right side or a fly ball to the outfield. Two weak half swings and a pop out, terrible.:madman:
