July 1, 200719 yr Always nice to see Good Lohse show up once in a while. If the guy just just figure out how to pitch out of a jam he could be very good...GT, I lile Lohse's stuff. Good velocity most of the time, solid offspeed. His problem to me, seems to be lack of command/control and early pitch selections. He catches too much of the middle of the plate and often, challenges hitters inside and it cost him. If he can work on command/control, of his offspeed and spot the FB away, he can be a very good MLB pitcher. Most of his trouble, is from the middle half of the plate, inside. Big difference between establishing the inside and staying in, too much.
July 1, 200719 yr Good dear, I make some plans and miss the game and they play well. Same here. I caught the last out on the radio driving home. Hey but thats a good thing. Means we have something better to do than watch them. I'm astounded by the crowds. They keep coming in the 30's and the Reds will fire sale to make profit not to make the team better. Says Bob "Dump millions in salary, give the fans a fake stash and go straight to bank, Wayne. Thats our plan. Man this is great. Hey call the warehouse, I just figured out where we can sell that truckload of spoiled banannas"
July 1, 200719 yr No save tonight. :irked: :irked: It's Homer Time. Is anyone else wondering the the 5 MPH on his fastball went?
July 1, 200719 yr There we go we got the AAA guys up here now that everyone was calling for and they are worse.
July 1, 200719 yr Is he possibly hurt? His fastball is no where near what everyone said it was. I think the highest I saw him hit since he has been up was 95 or 96. But he has consistently been around 93 or so and thats just isn't going to get it done if he doesn't have any other pitches.

I think he may be tired, he has thrown A LOT of pitches in his starts this year. On top of the work he had in the minors this year.
July 1, 200719 yr Homer gets roughed up again. 4 2/3 and 7 ER. I thought he only went 3 2/3. I could be wrong?
