Has this team been swept all year...It seems like they always take atleast one game outta each series and that is it...

While that will not increase his RISP, that was a huge clutch HR .

And it holds up. Strange game...

Watching this game almost made me sick to my stomach.....How half those guys are in the pen are on a ML roster is beyond me....

Glad to get the W though.

Nice job by the guys to come back twice to get the win, seems like they can NEVER coast in a game. That's what made that Seattle game so darn strange.

Anyway, they win tomorrow and they finish the road trip 4-5, not worth throwing a parade, but respectable considering the long trip.

Whens the last time the Reds have won the "rubber game" to win a series?

They're due:D

Mid-season All-Stars? Here is one guy's opinion:

NL: Matt Holliday, Eric Byrnes and Adam Dunn. Holliday doesn't get the national acclaim as most other hitters who put up the kind of numbers that he does, perhaps because people forget that Coors Field no longer plays like the bandbox it used to be. But make no mistake: his .349 average, 13 homers and 60 RBI are legit.

Surprised that Byrnes is on the list? Don't be: like Sizemore, he's been an all-around star, hitting .311 with 13 home runs, 44 RBI and 14 steals. He's had nice starts before only to taper off, but as we near the break, he's clearly among the game's best.

Sure, Dunn might break the strikeout record, but he'll destroy the ball when he makes contact. He's hit 22 home runs to go along with a career-high .271 average. The Reds aren't quite as desperate as some may think to trade him, and as long as he maintains a 40-homer pace, the Reds will rightly demand a king's ransom for him.

A Jose Mesa sighting.

Q: Who remembers an infamous event with Mesa and the Redlegs?

No takes on this?

Think Spring Training.

Who will get selected by the coaches? Holliday definitely. Probably Carlos Lee.

Who else does he have to beat out?

I can vaguely remember something happening between Mesa and the Reds. Didn't Mesa injure a Red when they charged the mound against him?
