May 9, 200719 yr On the bright side with this record that great baseball town that is Cincinnati will lost interest before the local schools get out this year. By July we should be able to get tickets IN the dugout for less than face value to watch a major league team play--of course it won't be the Reds. I can't wait for the dollar dog and pop nights. May 9, 200719 yr I had 4 tickets behind home plate last night, parking pass, the whole 9. I gave them to a family I know whose 7y.o. son hasn't ever seen a game in person. I'm thankful I didn't have to watch and pray he doesn't know enough to realize that kind of performance is the norm for our fave team. I hope I haven't ruined a possible lifelong fan.:cry: What was I thinking?!:mad:

I saw my first two Reds games at that age — both losses — and I'm still watching regularly. However, the drunken idiot two rows above us who kept yelling "C'mon Archie" every time Ken Griffey stepped up to the plate tried his best to chase me away.

Theoretically, wouldn't a hot hitter get more opportunity to drive in runs closer to the top of the lineup than in the 6th/7th spot? I still like Dunn in the 2nd spot to get on base, putting him in an RBI spot is getting ridiculous. He is not going to consistently drive in runs. Let him get on base and have people drive him in who consistently do drive in CLUTCH runs. What was the stat they gave last night. With 2 out and RISP, he is batting 150 for the season, 202 for his career with the MLB average being 234. Quit asking Dunn to be something he is not and appreciate and use what he does do. And put Hamilton in that RBI spot of 3, 4, or 5.

Livingston would be at his normal spot as he pitched last night. If not one of those two Saarloos would be the likely option from the current 25 man roster...
