I was going to head over to the game, but after the E-5 move I'm going to take a nap and watch some golf...

I understand giving guys days off for rest, but just for one week now that EE is going down I would like to see him send the same lineup card out for 6 games in a row.

Good idea. Tiger's not doing so great right now and that's good since I need Vijay or A. Scott to do well this week.

Not going to happen unless you want to see Gonzalez on the bench for that long. Maybe 5 games in a row starting tomorrow.

Wayne said Eddie was initially shocked, but left knowing that it was a chance for him to get better.

How so WK? By playing every day? He was already there. By making fewer mistakes because of less pressure? What's the point if it's back to the same when the stakes go back up? A much smarter move would have been to give him a week off and put Freel at 3B. Sending him down is not a good move at all IMO...

You got to be kidding? Do you know baseball? Edwin is the worst player the reds have on roster right now. He needs to get it together now or he'll never play. IMO, he's never could do much but knock down balls and hit .250, if that.

Keppinger is a workhorse who we need up here right now. Trust me, everyone will be impressed by this guys fundamentals and they way he plays the game. He's like a Ryan freel, with a little more pop and better fundamentals.

Right now the only way for Edwin to get out of his funk is to go down and work hard and just play ball. He wasn't ever going to be an everyday 3rd baseman for the Reds and never will.

Good Bye Eddie! Hello Keppi

Great....Just what we need, another utility player trying to play every day....I'll take Edwin thank you.

Now we all know better than that...

Same thing I was thinking. Shoot, it'll be better than a good movie....I got nothing to do, I think I'll try to get a ringside seat...You bring the popcorn, I got the drinks?

E-5 was pretty much the everyday third baseman last year. He only played in 117 games, but a lot of the missed games were because of time he spent on the DL. E-5 hit .276 with 15 HR's and 72 RBI's.

Whoops I went and already had the drinks.

I meant after today. That's why I put the part about giving guys a day off. I would just like to see them go a week or a weekend where we're not guessing the lineup.

Thank you. He is struggling right now, but when Dunn struggles he isn't sent to the minors. He's also throughout his career been just as bad as a fielder as EE. I can live with EE.

I'm sure they are trying to trade Encarnacion. The guy's head isn't in the game -- you can see that watching every night. You can't have a butcher at 3B -- and he is just that. I'm thrilled with the move.

Keppi, as he is now being referred to, hit about 25 homers in 4 or 5 minor league seasons -- combined. That isn't a lot of pop. However, I think he can hit, and if he can play solid defense and hit near .300 I'm all for it.

Eddie has made 41 errors in 198 games. :scared: (.926 fielding pct.)

No one hacks that badly...not even close.
