Track The Reds...

It looks as if Griffey may be slowly coming back in to form. He's now batting .321 and has been seeing the ball well lately.

Don't look now, but Ross' "hot streak" has him knocking on the door of a .200 BA. In his defense, he has been hitting a lot better lately.

Something that came to my mind when driving back home and listening to the radio broadcast when Gonzalez went yard: Anyone out there still think getting rid of Lopez and Kearns (and their oversized salaries w/re to their production) was a mistake?

In this sense yes, when you factor in who is playing here now.

However, what the Reds got in return is still very questionable.

Even though both Kearns and Lopez havent been lighting the world on fire, the Reds presently have zero to show for it.

They could have possibly gotten more elsewhere.

How long do we have Hamilton under contract and I would assume he's making nothing. Any chance we stays in Cincy long term?

As a rookie just starting his major league clock he's here for a while...

2010-2012 he's arb eligible so he's here for the next few seasons.

Just a random thought. If you fire Narron like most seem to want, don't you cut off a serious support source for Hobbs???

Not if they keep his brother around. Although I would guess if Jerry were gone, than so would his brother...

No...we all know managers have nothing to do with players' personal decisions and merely place them in the lineup each day.

:sssh: ;)

It is nice that offense is FINALLY coming around and with Gonzo showing one heck of a bat and Hobbs doing his thing, the days of griping about the trade may be over. Course they still got damaged goods in Majewski and the Reds may have cost themselves a playoff berth with that trade, yes I know the bullpen was awful.

ANYHOO, as nice as the offense has looked recently. Too bad the Reds NEED to score that many runs with the bullpen as bad as it is.

I hate Oswalt!!!!:madman:

What's the over/under on Reds runs tonight???? 2!?

Nice job merging threads.:thumb:

I was at the game yesterday. I had afantastic seat. About 40 feet from 3rd base and let me just tell you the throw that Hamilton made to third was unbelievable. He threw that ball on a rope. That throw and the really nice catch he made late in the game were as impressive as the two homers.
